We work with many insurance companies that provide group dental plans. Group Dental is available for companies with 2 or more employees. Benefits for companies with fewer than 10 employees are more limited than benefits for companies with 10 or more employees. All employees who don't have dental coverage through other group insurance must enroll on the dental plan for your company.

Dental plans are usually divided into three sections: Preventative, Basic and Major services. Orthodontia is available, although usually only to groups over 20.

Deductibles are usually $25 or $50 per person per year calendar. The deductible may be waived for preventive services. The annual maximum benefit is normally $1,000 to $2,000 per person per year.

We also offer Voluntary dental plans for groups as small as 3 enrolling employees.

Individual Dental Plans
Many people do not have access to a group dental plan thru their employer. For those who would like a dental plan there are a few carriers that provide individual dental plans. The plan designs are not as comprehensive as the group plans, but do provide an affordable alternative. They usually have waiting periods on basic and major services so the consumer needs to be mindful of when specific benefits kick in.

Voluntary Plans
These are dental, disability or life insurance plans that are employer sponsored and employee paid. Generally, a percentage of the total number of employees, or a minimum of 10, must participate. The rates are a little higher than non-voluntary plans, but still offer a reasonable supplement to existing coverage.
